Michigan Traumatic Brain Injury Training

Moderate/severe brain injury recovery follows a pattern that starts with coma and progresses through stages/levels of greater cognitive functioning. This module reviews both the Ranchos Scale that has been used for decades to describe the cognitive/behavioral recovery levels and integrates new practice recommendations coming from the fields of neurology and rehabilitation medicine. This module describes what to expect and how to engage and support the recovering person as a caregiver.
